Lohan in morgue over drink-driving

Troubled Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan has been sent to a morgue as part of her punishment for a drink-driving offence.

The 21-year-old star has also spent two months in rehabilitation and done some community service, her lawyer Blair Berk said at a hearing in Los Angeles on her progress toward fulfilling the terms of her plea bargain.

Her two four-hour days at the morgue are part of a court-ordered programme to show drivers the real-life consequences of drinking and driving.

She must also spend two days working in a hospital accident and emergency department.

Lohan, the star of The Parent Trap and Herbie: Fully Loaded, was arrested twice last year on drink-driving charges and pleaded guilty in August to misdemeanour drunken driving and cocaine charges. She has already served 84 minutes in jail as part of the plea deal.

Britney Spears hasn’t seen Adnan Ghalib since Friday

Britney Spears and her paparazzo boyfriend Adnan Ghalib seemed to be spending every waking hour together - but it looks as if their controversial relationship has turned sour.

The troubled ‘Toxic’ singer, 26, is believed to have expressed anger and disappointment towards Ghalib for ’setting her up’ in photographs that he and his agency FinalPixx have sold to newspapers and magazines.

So angry in fact, Britney has allegedly issued a restraining order against the shutterbug.

Photo agency X17 has claimed the troubled pop princess invited two of their photographers into her home on Saturday night and showed them a copy of the order.

And it looks like X17’s claims are true: Britney Spears and Adnan Ghalib haven’t seen each other since early Friday morning.

And to make matters worse, Ghalib just released this statement on the Finalpixx website.

“All I can say is that I have not been in contact with Britney since early Friday morning,” he said of the current allegations.

He added: “The reason being, that I have had to attend a family funeral in Santa Barbara. My phone has been off during this time out of respect for my family. I am only now becoming aware of what is being said. I hope to be back home in Los Angeles soon and to be in contact with Miss Spears.”

SPEARS PARTIES WITH SPEEDING PAPARAZZI

BRITNEY SPEARS tried to make peace with her army of paparazzi followers on Saturday when she invited a small group of snappers into her Los Angeles home to party with her.
Four photographers were arrested and charged with reckless driving in Los Angeles on Wednesday evening (16Jan08) after a high-speed car chase in pursuit of Spears.
And the troubled singer felt so bad for the snappers, she decided to make it up to them at the weekend.
According to PageSix.com, the pop star picked out photographer Filipe Teixeira from the crowd and asked him to join her in her Mercedes-Benz so that she could personally apologise for Wednesday's events.
Spears then invited Teixeira, who was one of the four men arrested by Los Angeles police, to follow her back to her mansion, where they drank champagne and partied with two of the other snappers for four hours, according to various internet reports.
And Spears had a special interest in Teixeira - he is alleged to have first introduced the singer to her paparazzo boyfriend, Adnan Ghalib. Ghalib spent the weekend in Santa Barbara after attending a family funeral, and did not join the late-night party
